Fresh air had never felt so good, Secret thought as she stood up, shaking out her dark fur and stretching her muscles. She licked her muzzle and tasted the scents on the air. There wasn't much around, save for her packmates and the pure scent of spring. It was something she'd missed throughout the long winter months. Secret trotted away from the camp, sniffing the air as she went. Nope, not a whole lot. At least for right now. She scraped her claws in the dirt for the simple joy of being able to do so.
Seek's lips curved in a smile and her tongue lolled out happily. Spring meant things would actually start to happen again. Prey would come out from hiding, still all fattened from their hibernation periods and making for excellent eating for their clan. Energy would run rampant through all of them, and she wouldn't be alone in her romps (hopefully). Seek pawed at the grass gently, sniffing at the tiny buds that already sprang from the earth. Nature was an incredible thing. She rarely stopped to think about such big-picture things, but she had to admit that.
Her ears perked and swiveled when she heard footsteps behind her, and glanced back over her shoulder
